JEE MAINS 2024

The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains is one of the most coveted engineering entrance exams in India, opening doors to prestigious institutions like NITs, IIITs, IITs, and state government engineering colleges. The upcoming JEE Mains 2024 is expected to witness intense competition, making it crucial for aspirants to stay well-informed about the exam details. JEE Mains 2024 will offer examinations for BTech, BArch, and BPlan courses, catering to a diverse range of engineering disciplines. The exam will have two sessions, and the best of the two scores will be considered for admission.

Eligibility criteria

Passed or appeared in the 12th or equal examination in 2022, 2023, or 2024.

Students who passed the 12th class before 2021 and will pass in 2024 are not eligible for JEE Main 2024.

 

Documents required

  • must use the NAD site to register for or create a DigiLocker account or
  • use the ABC ID to register for or create an Academic Bank of Credits ID or
  • use an Indian passport number to log in or
  • to access the account with a passport that isn’t Indian or
  • to access a PAN Card Number-based login or
  • utilizing an Aadhaar Enrollment Number to log in.
  • Aadhar Card or any Government ID with a photograph
  • 10 the class certificate and 12 the class certificate

 

Application Process

The application process for JEE Mains 2024 Session 1 will take place from November 1 to November 30, 2023, and JEE Mains 2024 Session 2 will take place from February 2, 2024, to March 4, 2024. Aspiring candidates can complete the application form by visiting the official website and providing accurate details and necessary documents.

you can take the test in English. Hindi is also available everywhere. In Assam, you can choose English or Assamese. In West Bengal, Tripura, and the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, you can pick Bengali or English.

If you’re in Gujarat, Daman & Diu, or Dadra & Nagar Haveli, you can take the test in English or Gujarati. In Karnataka, it’s Kannada or English. Kerala and Lakshadweep offer English and Malayalam.

In Maharashtra, you can choose between English and Marathi. In Odisha, it’s English or Odia. In Punjab, Chandigarh, and Delhi/New Delhi (including Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Gurugram, Meerut, and Noida/Greater Noida), you can pick English or Punjabi.

In Puducherry, Andaman Islands, and Tamil Nadu, you have the option of English or Tamil. And in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, you can go with English or Telugu. Lastly, across all of India, you can select Urdu or English.

Attemptable Questions: 75

Negative Marking: Applicable for 15 optional questions
