The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) is gearing up to conduct its online entrance examination for the academic year 2024–25.   • Name: COMEDK UGET & Uni-GAUGE 2024 Entrance Exam
  • Conducted by: Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK)
  • Purpose: Admission to undergraduate engineering courses (BE/B.Tech.) at Uni-GAUGE member universities.
  • Format: Computer-based test (CBT)

Eligibility criteria

Passed the second pre-university course (PUC) or completed 10+2 or higher secondary

or an equivalent examination.

  • Physics: 60 MCQ
  • Chemistry: 60 MCQ
  • Mathematics: 60 MCQ
  • Total: 180 Questions
  • Medium of Examination: English Only
  • Marking Scheme: Each correct answer will be awarded 1 mark. There is
  • no negative marking for wrong answers.
  • Tie-Breaker: In the event of a tie, the principle of least negative
  • responses (number of wrong answers) will be adopted. Other methods may
  • be used if required.
  • Date: Sunday, May 12, 2024
  • Morning Slot: 9:00 AM to 12 Noon
  • Afternoon Slot: 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM

Result and Previous Year Cutoff

The preliminary answer key and the commencement of the objection period

will begin on May 14, 2024, at 11 AM (Tuesday). The objection window will

conclude on May 16, 2024, at 4 PM (Thursday). The final answer keys will be

released on May 21, 2024, at 12 noon (Tuesday), and the live availability of test

score cards is scheduled for May 24, 2024, at 2 PM (Friday).

Selection Process

Counseling Procedure: Calls for the counseling procedure are made to

 qualified candidates. Candidates select their top universities and courses 

during counseling, taking into account the courses’ availability and ranks.

Seat Distribution: Candidates receive seats according to their preferences,

ranks, and the number of seats available in the relevant institutions and courses.

THINGS ALLOWED INSIDE EXAM HALL

  1. Printed Copy of Test Admission Ticket (TAT): The TAT is a crucial document for entry into the examination hall.

  2. Original ID Proof: As mentioned in the application form.

  3. Two Recent Passport Size Colour Photographs: Required for identity verification.

  4. Pencil for Rough Work: Limited to rough work only.

  5. Transparent Water Bottle: Only transparent bottles are allowed inside the exam hall.

Candidates must ensure they have all these items and adhere to the guidelines to avoid any inconvenience during the examination.
