BITSAT 2024

BITSAT 2024 is your ticket to the world-class education offered at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad, and Goa campuses.

Eligibility criteria

  • Must have passed class 12 and appeared from PCM or PCB and English subjects should also be there in class 12th.
  • Minimum 75 percentage marks required in class 12 in pcb or pcm subject.
  • Those candidates who have got first rank in class 12th state board or central boards toppers will get direct admission, there is no need to give BITSAT exam.

  • Aadhar card or any valid Id card
  • 10th marksheet
  • 12th marksheet
  • Passport size photo

Application Process

First you will have to go to the official website of Bitsat, where you will have to register, enter the necessary details, generate login and password and after that login or enter education al details and then upload the required documents, after that you will have to pay the application fee. And finally after successful registration you can print the confirmation page.

Application fee

For students from India or Nepal, the fee for session 1 is 3400 for male and 2900 for female and if applying for both the sessions, it is 5400 for male and 4400 for female.

For Dubai students, fee for session 1 is Rs 7000 and both sessions are Rs 9000

Exam Pattern

Bitsat Exam is of 3 hours in which there are 4 parts, first part is physics, second part is chemistry, third is English and mathematical reasoning and fourth part is mathematics or biology for B pharma students.

Question Types:

Objective type (multiple choice questions)

Four options for each question, with only one correct choice

Marking Scheme:

Correct Answer: +3 marks

Incorrect Answer: -1 mark

Unattempted Questions: No marks

Number of Questions (Total: 130):

Part I (Physics): 30 questions

Part II (Chemistry): 30 questions

Part III (a) English Proficiency: 10 questions

Part III (b) Logical Reasoning: 20 questions

Part IV (Mathematics/Biology): 40 questions

Extra Questions:

Candidates answering all 130 questions can attempt 12 extra questions (if time permits).

Extra questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, and Logical Reasoning (3 questions each).

Once opted for extra questions, no revisiting previous answers is allowed.

Test Flexibility:

No time limit for individual parts.

Result and Previous Year Cutoff

After completing the BITSAT-2024, candidates will receive their score reports in a transparent and efficient manner. Here’s how the BITSAT Score Report process unfolds:

Score Announcement:

At the end of the test, the computer will promptly provide the candidate with the result.

The announcement will include the total number of correct and incorrect answers, along with the score.

The candidate must ensure to check and confirm their scored marks before proceeding. Logging Out:

To log out of the test, the candidate is required to enter the correct scored marks in the test window.

This ensures that the student has reviewed and acknowledged their marks before concluding the test.

Logging out without entering the correct marks is not permitted.
