Nationality: Indian/Nepal/Bhutan.

Age limit: 20-25 years born between 2-08-1999 and 1-08-2004.

Educational Qualification:

For the position of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police and CAPF (Central Armed Police Forces), candidates must meet the following educational qualifications:

  • Candidates should have either appeared for or passed a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
  • The candidates must be able to submit their degree certificate before March 1, 2024.

Paper -1 consists of four parts with a duration of 2 hours

  • General Intelligence and Reasoning

                     50 questions of 1 mark

  • General Knowledge and General Awareness

                     50 questions of 1 mark

  • Quantitative Aptitude

                     50 questions of 1 mark

  • English Comprehension

                    50 questions of 1 mark

The total marks of Paper -1 are 200

Paper -2 consists of 1 subject for 2 hours, i.e

English language and comprehension having 200 questions of 1 mark

The total marks for paper-2 are 200

A negative marking of 0.25 marks is present in both papers.

 

Benefit of the NCC (National Cadet Corps) certificate in sub inspector Delhi police job

1. For the NCC C Certificate, a 10-point bonus will be given

2. For the NCC B Certificate, a 6 point bonus will be given

3. For the NCC A Certificate, a 4 point bonus will be given

Selection Process

The following are the minimal passing scores for Papers I and II (without counting any extra points that apply to holders of NCC certificates):

  • 30% of UR (Unreserved)
  • EWS (Economically Weaker Section) / OBC (Other Backward Class): 25%
  • 20% for all other categories
