APPLICATION PROCESS
Visit the official website:
- Open your web browser and navigate to the official website of the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB).
Click on “Apply” and create an account.
- Look for the “Apply” or “Apply Now” button on the homepage and click on it.
- You’ll be directed to the application portal. If you don’t have an account, click on the “Register” or “Create Account” option.
- Fill in the required information to create your account, including:
- Full Name
- Date of Birth (DOB)
- Gender
- Father’s Name
- Mother’s Name
- Aadhar Verification (if applicable)
- Contact Details (Email Address, Phone Number, Address, etc.)
- Create a secure password.
Login to Your Account:
- Once your account is created, log in using your credentials (email address, username, and password).
Navigate to the Application Section:
- After logging in, you’ll be redirected to your account dashboard.
- Look for the “Apply Now” or “Fill Application Form” link/button and click on it.
Fill in the necessary details:
- You’ll be presented with the application form for the RRB Technician Grade position.
- Fill in all the necessary details accurately, including personal information, educational qualifications, work experience (if any), etc.
- Upload scanned copies of required documents (such as educational certificates, ID proof, photographs, signatures, etc.) as per the specified format and size limits.
Submit documents and pay the application fee.
- Once you’ve filled in all the details and uploaded the required documents, proceed to the payment section.
- Pay the application fee through the available payment methods (online payment gateway, debit/credit card, net banking, etc.).
- Verify the details entered and review the uploaded documents before proceeding.
Final Submission:
- After a successful payment, review your application one last time to ensure all details are accurate and documents are uploaded correctly.
- Once satisfied, click on the “Submit” or “Final Submit” button to complete the application process.
- You may receive a confirmation message or email acknowledging the successful submission of your application.
RRB Technician Eligibility
- Only one RRB application per candidate is permitted for a given pay grade. A candidate may apply for any or all of the notified postings in the pay level’s order of preference, but they may only submit one single online application.
- It is necessary to pay the relevant examination cost separately for every pay level.
Age Criteria:
- For Technician Grade I Signal: 18–36 years
- For Technician Grade III: 18–33 years
- Candidate selection for Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination: Candidates will be selected at a ratio of one to all available RRB positions to conduct a medical examination and DV. Candidates will be ranked according to how well they perform on the computer-based test (CBT). Mark normalization will be completed for CBTs conducted over several shifts. The e-call letters for DV will be downloaded by shortlisted candidates via email, SMS, and the official RRB websites.
- Dates for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) and Document Verification (DV): The websites of the participating RRBs will list the dates for the CBT and DV. Only the websites of the relevant RRBs should be used to download e-call letters for CBTs and DVs, if applicable.

RRB TECHNICIAN EXAM FEE
Every Pay Level has a different examination fee that needs to be paid.
A refund of the examination fee will only be granted to candidates who show up for the Computer Based Test (CBT), as previously stated.

- One-third of negative marks will be there for wrong answer

General Intelligence and Reasoning: Venn diagram, relationships, syllogism, jumbling, alphabetical and number series, coding and decoding, mathematical operations, conclusions and decision-making, similarities and differences, Classification, Directions, Statement-Arguments and Assumptions, Analytical reasoning, etc.
